We were surrounded by beautiful countryside and had epic hikes right on our doorstep. The private sauna in the house was a massive win, perfect for chilling after a long day of adventuring. Plus, the owners were legends and even left us tea, coffee, and a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Cheers!
The only thing we would've loved for some extra fun is a larger outdoor space for us party animals to hang out and have a proper banger. But hey, we still had an absolute blast and can't wait to come back for more adventures!

We stayed at the unique Artist's Retreat for a weekend getaway. The history and quirkiness of the place instantly won us over. The large king-size bed and bathroom were luxurious, and we loved the small private garden. The extra toilet was a convenient addition. The hosts had thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, toilet paper, soap, and even welcome gifts. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to the Two Tunnels cycling route and plenty of nearby walks. We also enjoyed having a pub and a horse trekking center close by. The shepherd's hut was adorable, and the studio/living space on top offered stunning views. The couch, which turned into a sofa bed, was spacious enough for two. The communication with the hosts was excellent, and they promptly provided extra bedding for the sofa bed. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Thoughtful touches like complimentary tea, coffee, and a bottle of prosecco make for a delightful stay.

Super comfy bed with lovely views of the hills. The sauna was a great addition and my partner loved it.The nearby pub was warm and welcoming, with excellent food.
The narrow road leading to the property from the pub was a bit inconvenient. The separate door to the living room upstairs was not convenient either.

Loved the quirky property with its own sauna. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the garden. Managed to burn myself with the very, very hot tap in the kitchen, but hey, it added some excitement to the stay!
Just a minor inconvenience, but could use better blinds for privacy.

The Old Signal Box - Private Sauna at Artist's Retreat in Bath is legit awesome! The room has 2 bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a bath. I mean, who doesn't love options? As a karaoke-loving casino junkie, having a private sauna is a major plus in my book. It's like my own personal spa retreat.
Personally, I wasn't really into the Sauna. But hey, that's just me.

The sauna was epic, man, and we had a blast chilling in there, sweating our guts out. Plus, the hiking nearby was totally rad, we explored the hills and it was so cool to be surrounded by nature. Definitely a place for adventure-seeking teens like us!
The only thing we wished for was a killer sound system in the retreat. Like, imagine jamming to our favorite tunes while chilling in the sauna or hiking the hills.
